Both guys took the over on the Canucks but aren’t convinced it’s a playoff team. But the west seems pretty wide open. Lots of room for teams to jump/fall in the standings.

This is just the oddsmaker’s for the coming season. I was referring to a Greg Wysh podcast called Puck Soup. They don’t like the Canucks D, and that has nothing to do with OEL, it’s about Hamonic, Myers and Poolman.

I like Puck Daddy but don't like the Daily Hive crew. The thing with me is a lot of these guys have been around for a while and you know what they are going to say . Like Minivan said the other day Cam Robinson has his style and Faber is a fanboy . Like in here you pretty well know what someone's take is going to be on a subject even without reading it .

As far as Canucks this year , there was a lot of changes and there is more to come next year so I believe Benning when he said last year it will be a two year turnaround. I am just hoping to enjoy the year. The three things I am looking forward to are Pods Hogs and Demko.

I think Demko will establish himself as a legit star, and will get Vezina votes. Halak will be lucky to get 10 starts. Looking forward to Petey getting back on track, and Boeser taking the next step. Canucks will score lots of goals, it will surely be entertaining.

That’s bold. It’s possible but I think the team is far too talented to not make the playoffs. How do they regress from last place after adding a top 4 D and a first line forward? Anything is possible but I can’t see it.

I can’t imagine the owner going that route. After just bucking up for the coach, and letting the GM commit so much money to buy outs and trading for OEL. Both guys have two years, no matter how this year goes.

The offense has improved and the goaltending should be solid. Both barring significant injuries.
It's the defense that will make or break the season.
