Wouldn't that make a lot of owners cheap bastards? A lot of young players coming off their ELC wanting home run money in a flat cap. What ever happened to Bridge Deals?
What happens to the next group of young players that want to get paid and there is no cap because you paid all of todays young stars? Ottawa offered him 8 x 8 . Screw him if he says no. Minny offered KK 9 mil x 5 he wants 11 . I applaud Benning for not giving Petey 11 . Sign a God damn bridge deal and prove yourself because both our players still have question marks IMO.
