The people who were hard on Drouin should cut him some slack. It's easy to judge someone when you haven't walked a mile (or kilometer) in their shoes.

I wish him well and hope he finally realizes his potential. He has a lot of talent and the Habs need some offense.

When played in Tampa, you could see the talent. He's got silky hands. Deft stickhandling, dekes, dangles, fakes. I imagined him being Stamkos' setup man - like a young Marty St. Louis.

He just needs to get into the mental mindset to focus on playing the game. I hope he does. I like watching entertaining players and Drouin could be one of those guys.

so i didn't watch the Drouin thing but i'm wondering how it's possible that it can go well for him in Montreal given the issues that he has detailed. is this not a guy screaming out to play somewhere like Arizona or Anaheim?
