Just read a story this morning of an Arizona ICU nurse that worked directly with COVID patients and never got it. She was forced to take the vaccination for fear of losing her job and died shortly after from clotting. Very sad. No job is worth your life.

Pretty tragic. Really also sad to see what's happening to all the Conservative radio hosts and rightwing media figures. They really believed up until the end that they shouldn't get the vaccine and hearing about their families being left behind, their children without parents - it's just been awful. I guess it's just going to keep happening. Life is precious and dying on this hill without even trying to protect yourself and those around them, intubated and unable to breathe* - it's such a horrible way to lose one's life.

I mean, women have a higher chance of getting blood clots with taking basic birth control than the overall population does with any of the covid19 vaccines. While super tragic that she died, her case is more of an exception than it is the rule when it comes to covid19 side effects.

I can see it from their point of view and it's easy to get stuck when their circle of people are all trying to justify their decisions using each other. You end up thinking the same things, your pride gets in the way and you also don't want to be ostracized from your community. It's hard to see the bigger picture when you're looking only at small screens with strangers on the internet. The bigger picture is that millions of people already got vaccinated, many with side effects (normal) and are continuing to carry on with their daily lives.

Money does speak in the end, I think he's going to reluctantly get the jab and then move on with his life, as if nothing ever happened.

I think that’s misleading, out of the millions upon millions who’ve been vaccinated only a small percentage have had any side affects other than the normal sore arm and feeling down for a couple days, which is normal. And not dissimilar to other vaccines in human history.
