You guys have 3 fucking blogs up on the main page and you're still in here. Isn't this what you've been complaining about all summer? You're free, go frolic in the blogosphere. - Load Management
Have you read those blogs? Nothing to see there. Still waiting for Carl Schram to show up. |

That suggests the playoffs may not be an option this season. - VanHockeyGuy
I said it before, they aren't going to be much better this year defensively, and there's now a real possibility that QH and EP might sit out for the entire preseason and maybe even a significant portion of the year if they aren't signed soon. That pretty much sinks any real shot we might have had to make the preseason and makes it more likely that a major housecleaning and organizational philosophy change will happen sooner than later. |

Covid outbreak = selfish players. - K-man25
I just looked it up, the Canucks were 16 wins 21 losses after game 37 which was March 24th. The first player to test positive and the start of the outbreak was March 30th. The Canucks weren't that good before the outbreak, despite what some may believe.

Yeah, this is my favorite narrative, they they were good before the outbreak and then faded down the stretch. |

In defense of the bloggers, it's the Flames. I'm sure they are doing their best to find something noteworthy, but you can't squeeze water from a rock.
Carol probably has standards. So I think you'll have a long wait. |

If that's the case they can both get f*cked, let them stay in Wisconsin. |

Benning approved the schedule because he thought “everyone had the same basic schedule”. The team faced one of the worst Covid outbreaks because their team policies were basically “it’s just a flu”. They made their own bed.
I predicted they would be worse year over year, it was easy to see that coming. - 1970vintage
They were better the season before so I guess that theory goes out the window.
If Benning approved that schedule, I can't imagine how bad the other choice was. NHL rigged it. Did you see the schedule Toronto got? They went a month and a half before they had their first back to back... they had multiple days off between games several times leading up to that point... Canucks could only get 1 practice in over a 8 day period to start it was so bad... in a season where the arenas had ZERO scheduling conflicts because there were no events. No cross border travel. How do they come up with a schedule like that without there being some kind of profit agenda?
It was marketing BS... they desperately needed Toronto to come out of that division for revenue. It failed. Toronto had best sched, Van the worse. It should never have been like that. Canucks suffered the most for their crooked poop. |

That pretty much mirrors the schedule tilt.

Seems about right. Bubble team that could push for the playoffs or slip out. |

Greg Wyshynski is sure pumping the tires this morning that Brady Tkachuk wants to go to ST Louis in the near future and only wants a real short bridge deal with Ottawa.

Matthew wants to be there as well as heard earlier this year. Wouldn't be shocked to see both brothers in STL at one time. |

Pfffffft ! Shane O brien is not an insider.
But both seem like Momma boys, so might be something there. Probably about the same as Quinn wanting to go to NJ. |

I’m guessing since the Spokane roster was basically practice group A tonight’s game will be group B?
Twitter is very quiet this morning. |
