He played well in one series in the bubble, no one on the Hawks played well against Vegas as they were overwhelmed. The bubble was aptly named, special circumstances, does not translate to an NHL regular season or playoffs.

I guess I am confused then. I didn't know the narrative was Dach was rushed. Perhaps someone can explain how bringing him to the NHL early stunted his development or negatively impacted his career arch.

If he stayed in Jrs an extra year he would've had a better season last year in the NHL? Assuming he doesn't break a wrist playing in a Jr tourney.....

His leadership skills are just fine or he wouldn't have been Canada's team captain.

As to another year in Jrs would have helped him as a finisher, he's never been big time goal scorer. I don't see how playing in Jrs another year, against inferior competition ,makes him a better goal scorer or prepares him for the NHL.

Tons of big time goal scorers in Jrs suck in the NHL.

I was thinking more along the lines of ESPN, ESPN+, TNT et al getting the broadcast contract.

Well, I feel totally in the dark _ I get to see both preseason games this week, but LATE on NHL.com


I checked ESPN+ TNT thinking that since this is now their baby just maybe they were involved with preseason, but they probably had to over pay their sparkling new broadcast teams far too much to include them working before the season...BUT...what would have taken to piggy back off local team braodcasts?

I paid for ESPN+ and they are showing the Oct. 19th game as one I watch...not sure when I go to TNT or elsewhere...

Kalynuk is waiver exempt so he probably will be sent down to start

See this link for the games to be broadcast on ESPN, the 75 exclusive ESPN+ games, ABC games and TNT games. In addition another 1000 or so games to be streamed on ESPN+.
