Great shot, perfect timing with the traffic. Still wish he had it but he’s looked strong thus far.

Looked to me like he was dropping to his knees a little early on that shot. Well placed though. Once he’s in mid season form I’d expect him to have that.

Ellis’ wrist one timer in my opinion is kinda ugly. Maybe it’s because I’m hoping for a clapper but he’s getting it through.

Stop it. That was in the top corner. Great shot. Hats off to Pelach. No goalie is stopping those shots on a regular basis. The question is whether or not Hart bounces back and forgets it. Last year, that shot would have caused a melt down for him. Let's hope this year is different.

Forester and Brassard both missed a couple good tip opportunities. Brassard didn’t look happy about the last one. The PP in two periods has looked dramatically better than last year.

Definitely impressed with the puck movement. I was hoping to see Foerster on that left half wall.

Yes, they had him instead in the high slot, but I liked his quick decision making when he did get the puck.

Thats just not true. A shot from that high up and Hart was off angle and not challenging the shooter nearly enough.. That ones on Hart. Hes playing well besides that

When a shot hits that little spot in the top corner there's not much a goalie can do. Get over it. I'm as critical as it gets on goalies, but that one is not anything to be critical about. hat tip to the shooter.

Stop it? What are you talking about? Watch it again It was a good shot but if he stands a bit taller as the shot comes in, he can get the blocker on it. Read what I said. Once he’s fully back up to speed with his timing etc he makes that save. It’s preseason so he’s not in mid season form. I think he’ll be fantastic this year but it’s preseason

If you knew anything about goaltending, you would realize that challenging the shooter and being on angle is 2 of the most important things as a goalie. Do those 2 things and that top corner can't get picked. Hart was WAY too deep in his net and too far left in his crease. That is how the entire upper left side of the net was completely open. It was bad positioning.

When hart is in mid season form, he gets that most times. His timing just isn’t there yet. It’s not a criticism. This is why they have training camp etc. It’s not a weak goal but one he would have had if he was a bit more patient when the shot comes through. He went down a little early on th high shot and had to flail the blocker as he’s going to his knees. It’s no big deal preseaon and working into form , but that’s what happened.

He was a little bit too deep I think but like I said, I think it was timing. Certainly not a big deal right now as he’s played well. Very good signs.

I agree but that goal is on Hart so for someone to be in total denial about that is nuts. It was wrister from a defensemen from above the top of the circle, and Hart wasn't even up towards the top of his crease when he should have been slighty above the top of the crease, he was also off his angle, and that is why the entire upper left portion of the net was wide open. That is the goalies fault. Needs to be a save. Hes playing fine besides that hiccup.

Not willing to take the time to look it up. But would guess Washington. Eller the 3c. Or is this just last year?

It would have been a terrific save if Hart stopped it, but it was also a great shot through several bodies and labeled under the cross bar, so I am fine with it. That goal was more about the mix up in Dzone coverage than anything else, Peleck should not have been able to get that shot off in the first place.

Wristers from defensive d men from above the top of the circle are never considered terrific saves lets stop with the nonsense. It was a weak goal on Harts part. He has to be in front of his crease not a foot behind it there.

If you can't give credit to the shooter there, and recognize Hart was also screened, not sure what more I can say here. I think you are being a bit harsh to Hart on this one.

Please stop. Hart gave them half of the net by A: Dropping to his knees WAY too early
B: Being a foot back from the top of the crease, and C: Not having a proper angle.

I think when asked about it he would say the same thing. Its a weak goal and a floater from that far out is not in any planet considered a great shot.
