Benning is responsible for all of the picks that have been made since hes been GM of the team and (genrally) managing all major decisions including draft picks. Just like every other GM in league history, which is why no one cites Washingtons scouts or Tampas scouts when they talk about who drafted which player. - neem55
Yes, I went to Harvard, I understand how decisions are made within an organization. |

I am indifferent on Hughes, and Pettersson wanting big contracts, that said I can't forget the feeling I had when Hughes made that long bank stretch pass to Bo for the overtime winner in the bubble. There are a handful of defensemen who not only can make a play like that, but have the confidence to try. That is what he was missing last year, confidence. I feel like the whole team played without the swagger that they played with in defeating the defending Cup champs. We are all speculating what is going to be paid to each but let's not forget they are amazing talents. Pettersson in the Colorado game, gave us glimpses and we all could see a future. I think we are all passionate fans of differring degrees and most of all have been starved for a winner since 2011 really. I hope they sign and feel like they will, I expected all the speculation to go crazy this week as really after Monday there wasn't much happening this week. |

I liked Rintoul, I played golf with him and Barry McDonald at a couple of charity golf tournaments and he was always a nice guy... for a ginger, but man if you pissed him off or he missed a shot he'd be swearing like a sailor. - DariusKnight
I was never a fan of his but never against him. I just wasn't interested in listening to him . Wish him luck. I never found him entertaining so I doubt I will follow to see what he does next. |

Rintoul might be a hell of a good guy but if I was ever driving around and had the radio on he was boring as hell.
Radio is going the way of the Dodo . Too expensive to the talent . Podcasts are the new thing I guess.
Hamonic we will find out Friday. - VANTEL
Yeah his show was kind of boring but I'll give him credit for being way more mature than anyone else on 650...and a pure sports guy instead of 98% Canucks water cooler talk. He's good...but prolly got cut because his show isn't as appealing to this immature market. |

No joke lol, they IP banned him because he made fun of some mod repeatedly lol, his original username was k2b, dude posted there like everyday, so now he uses my account but I still have access to it so I do sometimes post as well but not nearly as often as him. - Nucker101
With all the talk and alt shaming, you turn out to be sharing an account. It's like two girls one cup or something.

He was also one of the last Team 1040 guy left on SN650 and they've been letting the old Team 1040 guys go over the last couple of years. |

True, I’m pretty terrible. Slap shot like Tanev, defense like Hughes, offense like Lui, but I’m a Matt Cooke level instigator |

Can't say I like any of the 650 shows.
Rintould knew his stuff . I am a bit surprised that every show didn't get cancelled . They have some horrible stuff and personalities on there . The only one I could stomach was Walker because he was a sh1t disturber. |

Walker's show was more about him than sports I thought. Everything seem to come down to what irritates him or some other petty stuff. He was the George Costanza of sports.

The biggest Grizzly tracks I ever saw(and I've seen countless) were way up the Kispiox River while I was on a dual moose hunt/steelhead trip. Sweetin River area. I found a beaver dam on a creek that the salmon found their way into and a massive grizz had been feeding there. Four hand widths wide... it was in clay so it was so perfect you could see the wrinkles and rough skin on his pads. Talk about the neck hair standing to attention when I found that spot. Tip toe in reverse....
My buddy who was a grizz hunting guide said 1000 lbs for sure. Said he had seen that bear a number of times. He didnt guide there though.

That's crazy! My nieces husband survived a grizzly attack a few years back. They were up the kicking horse pass sheep hunting, after shooting a sheep they were headed back to camp when attacked. He used to guide in the area and was told the Bears hear the gunshot and head for it for an easy feed. Grizzly was on them before they knew it. |

Green says he still may bring some players up & down from this main group. Says we will see more veteran lineups in the Pre-season then we’re used to. Asked if the absent players are complicating things: “We’ll worry about those guys when they get here. IF they get here” #Canucks
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds like they are going to go the rest of the preseason with the expected team so they can get use to playing with each other early.
Also a good move for the Abby team to get use to each other also. |

I had an assistant coach in my youth that went to Harvard. Harvard became his nickname. |
