Thanks Carol! Which hockey pods do you like? I subscribe to a bunch but don’t listen all the way through to all of them. 32 thoughts is a must, and I usually get all the way through the Vancast. Others include:
Athletic Hockey Show - really like Haley Salvian with Ian Mendez. She smart and funny and gives a different perspective than old white guys.
Puck Soup with Greg Wysh is usually pretty funny but they tend to get off topic and ramble a bit.
The Full 60 with Craig Custance hasn’t dropped for a while.
Sekeres & Price - three hours is a long time to listen - they also have their Canuck additional with JPat called Rinkside which follows directly after the main show.
Donny and Dhali, also too long IMO. Problem with these live shows is that usually by the time the pod comes out we have already discussed all of the relevant topics in your thread, so the information is always a day behind…
Anyway, look forward to hearing if there are other shows worth a listen.

There are some new entries in the podcast sweepstakes, so the list is fluid.
From your list, '32 Thoughts' and 'The Vancast' are the ones I listen to regularly.
'The Full 60' is no longer happening because Craig Custance has moved to the Tuesday edition of the Athletic Hockey Show, which is the 'U.S. edition,' co-hosted by Sean Gentille. I loved the long-form interviews on 'The Full 60.'
I also listen to 'Ray and Dregs' regularly. And there are a couple of new ones that I think are worth our attention:
'The Chris Johnston Show' - brand new; Johnston has left Sportsnet and is now writing for the Toronto Star and just debuted as an insider on TSN, as well as doing this twice-weekly pod. He's very well-connected and really level-headed, which I like a lot.
'In the Crease' - this is also new, with Emily Kaplan and Linda Cohn from ESPN. Emily is also fantastic and well-connected, and often brings quite a fresh approach to her reporting.
----
And just to confirm - yes, Gadjovich must clear waivers. Easiest way to check is on the CapFriendly team page. Players with the green arrows are waiver exempt:
https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/canucks
If you go to a waiver-exempt player's page and click on his green arrow, you can get the exact breakdown of how much longer they'll be protected. For example, John Stevens:
https://www.capfriendly.c...ator/john-stevens#results
If he plays 54 NHL games this year, he'll lose his exempt status as soon as that happens. Otherwise, he'll lose it at the end of the year. |

Thanks. I tried the Ray & Dreggs show but it just kind of grated on me, which is weird because I like to listen when Ray is (was) on someone else’s show. I’ll look for CJ and in the crease. 👍 |

I updated my original post to include The Vancast as well - didn't see that on your list initially. Farhan is Drance's new co-host now that Jeff Paterson has moved over to the Sekeres & Price ecosystem. |

|

ps. I just turned on the first Flyers' preseason game of the year, against the Islanders.
Guess who's in net for NYI?? Our old pal Cory Schneider!! |

I got a link on FB from my son yesterday that said Jeff Bezos has spent more time in space than the Leafs have spent in the second round of playoffs in the last 20 years.

That makes sense, because it's not like they get close to each other on the court, going for a rebound etc... |
