All kidding aside, some teachers are participating in student intimidation. It was a huge problem back then...Don't know how school is today though, hopefully things changed.

It probably changed a lot with the current generation. Bullying isn't very trendy anymore.

Eating prebiotics is very important indeed (legumes, whole grains, nuts, greens, etc.)

we had good teachers and bad teachers here. you don't even really notice it at the time but then looking back on it when you're older you're like "mr. brewer really seemed interested in helping us understand history but mr. gronkowski just wanted to get through the day and just had us summarize an article from the newspaper while he mingled in the hallway"

Oh, it still exists. Hell, right now, my kids were merged into another school because the smaller one we were in closed... All the kids who moved are treated like 2nd class citizens it seems... Interlopers.

Indeed, been a lot healthier since I've stopped that poop. Miss the taste but not the constant bloating

Seems I'm in the generation that had all those old teachers who were close to retirement and that you just could see that their passion for teaching was long lost just by their cold dead stare while you were asking a question.

I remember it really hit me when I was in my last year of high school and I had a 28 year old lady as a teacher.

Yeah, I don't think that will ever change. Especially in small towns in rural areas.

Working from home, so tomorrow I'll run crystal disk on the HDD and see if it's nearing end of life. The laptop they gave me is a gen 1 i7 and really poop. I've made modifications to mitigate its assness, but I think I will lobby for them to pony up some cash for a 7th gen i5 at the very least.
