Overall I think the Flyers played OK in the 2nd and 3rd periods, that 3rd goal let in my Jones was a killer. I think Farabee was the obvious star of the game, and I liked York and Thompson tonight as well. I thought Risto was solid, made simple plays. I was not impressed with Frost at all, can't see him making this team out of camp. - jd250

Looks like Farabee is proving last season wasnât a fluke. Might be a good idea to consider him for the right half wall.
Why is Foerster in the slot? I thought his strong area was the left half wall on the pp? |

Fletcherâs inability to prioritize goaltending is going to become an issue fairly quickly.
Ironic, when thatâs the biggest on ice flaw last season. |

Unrelated to hockey, but am I the only stiff who stayed up to watch The Many Saints of Newark as soon as it released?
Iâll say this. Not a great movie, but would be a hell of an intro to a series if they decide to pursue it further.
Thatâs what it felt like, to me. An intro. An episode.
Not sure if theyâll do another. I guess we gotta wait for press. From what I hear, the writers and/or producers werenât thrilled because they were initially under the assumption that it would strictly be a theatrical release. When they found out HBO would carry it, they got mad. Iâm guessing they had a piece of ticket sales, so that rubbed them the wrong way. Appropriately so, I suppose.
Letâs see if they can make nice. HBO could do worse than play off of our nostalgia. Frankly, they pandered to it quite a bit. A few good moments. Plenty of corny ham-handed ones.
Young Gandolfini is just like his pop, but his mom, who was the main actress in The Departed, nailed the role of Olivia. |

You want to set him up for that big shot so the high slot is where you want him, however the Flyers have not figured out how to get him open and get the puck to him yet. |

I was asking myself this regarding Foerster. |

Brassard is fine if used properly. No issue with him overall. He is still an NHL player, unlike Nate.
More of an indication that the flyers prospects are not ready or good enough in the GM's mind. At least how I see it. - hello it's me 2050
Iâm sorry but I have to agree with this... - SuperSchennBros
Why do you feel the need to say your sorry merely for agreeing with someone else?
Now please apologize for this unnecessary apology. Thank you.
