I like that this is the last chance for Poehling but Alex Belzile keeps getting chances at 30 years old

It's not the last chance for Poehling at all.

He could start in the AHL, have a strong start and join the team later.

Or become a trade chip.

Or bust out and work in the public health system.

We seriously need people.

also you have to wonder if Belzile and Vejdemo are the best guys to see what Poelhing can do

looking at this lineup it isn't that apparent that 19 players were cut but I guess it makes sense when you have 70 guys at camp

I think big cuts will happen after tomorrow's game, should only be a few extras left in MTL after that.

Then we will get a feel for how the team lines up.

makes sense, and as we were saying the last 2 pre-season games will be much closer to the regular lineup

Yeah, I think this is the likely scenario

Je trouve juste ça drôle le double standard.

I remember hearing Carbonneau saying that his first few camps, he wasn't really put with NHLers, you have to prove your worth anyway.

My guess is that if they really intend to play him both games, he'll get better linemates tomorrow.
