It's what I loved about last season, honestly. I think the last 2 preseason games and the 1st game of the year may well be a good predictor of the season.

Competition. This is the 1st year in ages the Leafs may have a better D than the Habs... Time will tell.

Petry has the skills to step up, but the rest for the Habs are question marks. If Edmunsnton and Chiarot play to their last year status, we might be ok. After that it's a crapshoot.

I may be biased (just slightly, lol), but I'd rather have the habs' D, they have a bit more depth and should be tougher to play against.

but yeah, ironically with all the firepower upfront the laffs' D wasn't really the issue in the playoffs last year.
