Same as it was before, cost 1500$ to maybe confirm what they were thinking (ovarian cyst). Now I have 4 types of meds to give her everyday twice a day for a little while. Pretty hard to give meds to a bird -_-. |

What kind of bird is it?
I'm guessing it's not a budgie if you're willing to invest that much.

It's a cockatiel, not that big but I've had it for 12 years and it can still live another 10. |

Yeah well, looking at the job perspective before starting a degree seems like a smart thing to do...maybe it's just me though. |

I'm always baffled by people getting a master in history only to work at a basic office job afterwards.
I mean....what was the plan?

I'm shocked by people paying tens of thousands of dollars to "find themselves" with no real plan |

It should, it's just that for almost a year it's had a big liquid lump growing in its belly. Had to go to the vet to purge it 5 times already. It gets so big that it squished all other internal organs and the bird has a hard time breathing. Removing 30 ml liquid from a 105g bird is almost 30% of its weight... |

I mean, if your only goal is to gain knowledge, buy books or do some Internet research. A degree should be used to get a job you like IMO. Especially here where the state pays a big part of your degree. |
