I could care less about either, neither is going to be a huge piece going forwards so if one or both get claimed or end up never cracking our roster it's no big loss. We can't afford to worry about losing potential bottom/middle 6 forwards that may never get a full-time roster spot or a bubble defenseman who clearly isn't going to be what he was drafted to be.

I remember the last regular season the Comets had OJ looked like a tire fire for the first 15 games but eventually turned into the teams best.

Another Dman I think will develop this year is Briesbois. I believe he is injured right now. He has a chance to play some games up here.

If OJ was claimed on waivers, I imagine we could pick him back up when he is waived again by that team in the future. No big loss tbh.

agreed, likely explains why a lot of forwards who come over from there tend to overhandle the puck and don't pass or shoot quick enough
