I'm alone on an island that I could see Gadjovich clear waivers without problems.

7.85M for Hughes 6 years. 7.35 for Petey 3 years.

Would have thought the term would be reversed for the two...

I was hoping the term would be reversed for the 2.

I would say both right now could look like pretty good deals in a year or two.

Would need Petey to stay healthy and Hughes to become more much consistent defensively and Vancouver will win it's first ever cup.

He could quite easily clear...who knows really.
I think people just see more potential in Gadj vs OJ atm.

I'm good with both those deals too.

That's a steal for Petey! What a bargain!

Hughes obviously has the potential to vastly out produce his contract as well, but that's a big contract if he ends up being one dimensional and we have him and OEL eating that much cap. Still, both together, that's a great day for Vancouver.

I just don't see the hype, Brogan Rafferty was hyped pretty much the same and ended up being not so good in the NHL.

Villagers might have the pitch forks away but Ruby has turned himself into the Vantel hating version of the Sedin's over Hughes and Petey.

I'd like to see a few games first before I find someone to female dog about.

Players get paid for scoring and not playing defence.

This dude just losing his poop over Duncan Keith saying that the players association should have done more for people who didn't want to be vaccinated.

Yep they should have.

I’m wondering if there was some Sedin influence on the Pettersson deal.. 🧐

Interesting take.

Seems like a agreed split on available salary to me... only term is significantly different.

The numbers have been going up for years, I've been waiting for Saanich Inlet to come back to life. My step-brother has been working on the Todd Inlet project since before they took the dam out at Butchard Gardens, bringing Coho and cutthroat back to the inlet, he's also part of the group that have been putting the extra coho from Goldstream up into Shawnigan lake. Saanich Inlet has always been a great feeding area for american chinook but the Cowichan are the only native chinook in the inlet.

Now the fans can be excited about the year with a full squad of players. First time in a long time I can say I’m looking forward to the start of the regular season.

Before last season starting I was pumping Boeser’s tires, he lead the team in goals and scoring. This year Petey’s gonna have a big year and stuff his cock down Don’s throat

Where they're allowing the spread of rumours that the vaccination is part of a plan to connect all black people to a supercomputer to exact a Satanic plot?

...Yeah they sure have it right

I'm expecting both Petey and Hughes to have a bad/slow start this year due to time missed with no training camp and some missed practices. People expecting big things better temper their expectations because Boeser missed training camp getting his deal done and had a down year for him and expect EP/QH to have the same.

I don't know about 'hype', more potential.
I was pretty meh on Brogan myself.

I never doubted the QH and EP40 would be re-signed.
Just glad they get some preseason reps in.
I wouldn't want the distraction to drag on and have a Nylander type of start.

Everyone was hyped on QH after his 1st year and he had a down turn last year, as expected.

I guarantee he'll have a strong bounce back year this year and quiet the chicken littles.
