If he reports and plays 82 games, great. Lord knows we need the defensive depth.

But if he refuses to cross the border or has to quarantine or any other number of possible issues, this team is absolutetly handicaped for the entire year.

Word on the radio today was that Canucks were under the impression he would be vacced and report, changed his mind.

He won’t be able to play 82. Can’t cross the border (without quarantine). Think the quickest process would be for him to go to Minnesota and get the J&J, single shot and then return to his home and quarantine for two weeks. At least, that’s what I’ve heard.

If he stays in Canada and does the Pfizer/Moderna route it will be 6 weeks or so until he can travel with the team.

It's called Jim Benning. I know I'm annoying as crap whining about JB but crap always seems to follow him around. It's been 7 years. He no longer gets the benefit of the doubt. He's either one of the most unlucky gms ever or just bad at being a gm. For anyone who says look at the picks blah blah blah. Last place in a div with Ottawa in it last year. Yes Ottawa and no covid isn't what destroyed us it didn't help but we sucked long before we got covid.

Canucks are being ultra-careful here with Hamonic. Lots of speculation about vaccination, but there is also potential issue about the mental health of a player under extreme pressure. So team is giving him time and space.

Podkolzin might benefit from a month in Abbotsford, just getting more used to the NA game and learn the Canucks systems. Sometimes just looks like he’s not sure where he’s supposed to be.

This is exactly the kind of game I’m worried about for the season. Mostly even but a couple bad defensive breakdowns lead to chasing from behind.

Yea, it’s preseason, yes, this isn’t the actual roster, but it’s eerily familiar.

I’ve liked Dikinson and DiGuseppi. Don’t notice them much, just in good position had a few good chances as well.

Juolevi and Myers haven’t been terrible together either - better than Rathbone Myers.

I know its preseason, but anybody else getting a little sick of Millers play... giveaways galore

I just think he needs a bit more than a three day camp and a few preseason games to have an impact in the NHL. Would rather a guy with some experience to start the year (even MacEwan) and then bring him up in a month or so.
