This is what Green was calling a more nhl veteran line up as per his comment 2 days ago? I count 5 vets.

I said revisit the topic of his preseason line ups at 3 or 4 games. Flames have put together more of a NHL line up 2 of 3 so far... Green has done the opposite.

It's pretty common for teams to send more AHL level teams to other teams buildings, and leave their NHL level team at home for their own fans. Ie: look at the team the Flames sent to Abby, see how that works with it.

I have a hard time believing any of you guys are fans of the Canucks, there is so much female doging about every little thing it's mind blowing.

Myers plays well but (frank) better complain he shot the puck at the goalies crest, no mention he played well all game long.

Green ices a AHL team, but (frank) better complain that this is the team for the year.

Guys complaining all the time, you guys are worse than a bunch of old ladies jealous of the new younger women that moved in the neighborhood. I think a few of you guys need a tampon change.

Good game by 2/3rds of an AHL roster against Calgary's NHL team.

Uh huh.

Except I remember Green's other preseasons where he gave the team 1 game to gel and too much play for AHL regulars through out the preseason.

I think 6: Miller, Garland, Dikinson, Myers, Hunt and Schenn.

Plus the AHL guys were largely well established guys. Petan, DiGuis, MacEwan etc all have NHL experience and would be AHL vets.

It was really just Podkolzin, Rathbone and Juolevi who were “young” no?

That was game 3 of 7, with 3 of their next 4 at home. We'll see what he does the next few games especially now they have their top center and top-ish Dman back.

Which underlines what I have been saying about too much AHL regulars and not enough preparations in Greens camp/preseasons.

I think he's referring to guys who will be on the team vs in Abby. So, will that in mind: Demko, Dikison, Garland, Hog, Miller, Myers, Podk, Schenn all locks for the NHL team (8). Then there are bubble players that they have to assess to see if they're going to start with the team: Gadj, Highmore, OJ, Di Giuseppe, Hunt, MacEwen, Petan, Rathbone (8). So what, 2-3 players they shouldn't be playing, but also don't want to tax the main guys?

So the question is, especially since EP and QH and Hamonic were missing, and Sutter and Motte not starting the season, how do you evaluate bubble players that could potentially start with the club? Do you just cycle one or two guys in a game and get a 1 game sample to evaluate them on? Or do you give them 3-4 games so you get a better gauge where they're at overall and make a more informed decision?

You're complaining about game 3 of the preseason. If this was the last game sure I'd be all for it. But take 5 deep breaths and go for a walk.

Yeah, I was just saying the lineup wasn’t particularly young, but not great either. But I don’t think Booners point was young per se, so I’m not really sure what I’m saying…

Greens just smarter than other coaches, he realizes that its key for your farm team to get off to a good start. If the big Canucks want to have any success, it's imperative that the little Canucks start strong.

Miller is already using the excuse that there are too many new faces on the team.

Green doesn't like the way team played last night.

He says certain things in his interviews but going on 4 seasons of not being able to get the team to do those things nightly.

Team needs to start working on NHL lines now. He's right. Not at the very end of preseason. No more AHLers on Bo's wing... we need to know how Podz looks with him... also Garland. Not ZacfknMac or Chiasson.

If they want to get different looks... try for once... just once playing Pearson somewhere else. Nope... that was decided 3 seasons ago....

Dikcinson is going to end up with more offence on his wings than Horvat in the end. Book it.

Sutter's fault. He would be Green's 4LC go to but he's not even at camp. So they have to try out others.
