People keep penciling him in... for all we know he might need AHL time...

He didn't look like he could make the top 6 in Abbotsford.

Team needs to start working on NHL lines now. He's right. Not at the very end of preseason. No more AHLers on Bo's wing... we need to know how Podz looks with him... also Garland. Not ZacfknMac or Chiasson.

If they want to get different looks... try for once... just once playing Pearson somewhere else. Nope... that was decided 3 seasons ago....

Dikcinson is going to end up with more offence on his wings than Horvat in the end. Book it.

Pulling the ol' Vantel and not responding eh? lol

Maybe if you read into it, Green is saying Podz and Garland are playing with JTM so he's leaving them there to.. *shock*.. develop chemistry for the season! That'd be like, 3 offensive lines? Unless you still think Bo scores more than 50% of his points on the PP

I have a hard time believing any of you guys are fans of the Canucks, there is so much female doging about every little thing it's mind blowing.

Myers plays well but (frank) better complain he shot the puck at the goalies crest, no mention he played well all game long.

Green ices a AHL team, but (frank) better complain that this is the team for the year.

Guys complaining all the time, you guys are worse than a bunch of old ladies jealous of the new younger women that moved in the neighborhood. I think a few of you guys need a tampon change.

Good game by 2/3rds of an AHL roster against Calgary's NHL team.

This is what Green was calling a more nhl veteran line up as per his comment 2 days ago? I count 5 vets.

I said revisit the topic of his preseason line ups at 3 or 4 games. Flames have put together more of a NHL line up 2 of 3 so far... Green has done the opposite.

- boonerbuck

Big question is who the new doghouse player will be for Green...

Miller is already using the excuse that there are too many new faces on the team.

Won't be much longer before he is crying about having to go to work. Poor thing...

I'm pretty confident the top line is set with Miller, Petey and Boeser... if Boeser is healthy. We'll see...

No need to get uptight about someone questioning Green.

What is that two-three preseason games?! You guys are already complaining about players in mid-season form, hopefully the team catches up a bit

It’s been the top line the last two years, very effective. Can’t see why it wouldnt be again.

I mean, it's preseason game 3 without his top center and an injured top line player... no need to get uptight about his away game roster decisions?

I'm not even a Green fan, but complaining about early preseason rosters that have had a lot of turnover is just sort of.. strange.

The reason being, IMO, is that if they can spread out 3 lines that have impact players on each and their lines can hold up, it creates a much tougher matchup game for opposing teams. The Lotto Line wasn't as great last year as teams started planning for them more (amongst injuries and etc.)

You'd hope your newly signed 7 mil center can center his own line at some point. Having Petey, Bo, Miller as your top 3 centers is a pretty damn deep forward group.

I really don't think they brought in Dikcinson to be a 4rth liner. I really don't think Miller as a 3rd liner is very smart either.

Good points. The separation of Miller to the third line makes no sense. I can see Richardinson as a capable 3LC.

Second preseason game for Podz, speed bumps expected but he’ll be fine. Just needs to get acclimatized playing on the third line rather than first line. Learn the system and keep it simple.

Going off what JB and TG have said (and what TG has played so far with Miller), they're keen to look at Miller centering a line and suggested that Dikinson could provide more in a top 6/9 role at center or wing. Not saying it's going to happen, but I don't think the Lotto Line is 100% locked in from the preseason looks

No, he was a top 6 player who already won the Calder. Now, he looks lost among AHL players.

September and October are always pom pom time. Come November the pom poms are boxed up and the tissues and excuses are brought out. Same every season.

Would suggest looking inwards and stop projecting as if Podz is the one underachieving…… Will lead to a happier life 👌 😂 he’ll be fine

So, this is an interesting development. Zach Rinaldo in CBJ, like Hamonic (allegedly) refuses to get vaccinated. Columbus placed him on waivers but did not assign him to the minors, because they have a 100% policy for the entire organization. So Rinaldo is still getting paid $300k not to play.

This could lead to a similar situation where they waive Hamonic and if he clears, they gain $1.15m in cap space and Hamonic stays home (until he changes his stance).

....or Miller centering the Lotto line...since he's a better center than Petey so far. Their comment was vague so I wouldnt be so single minded on this.
