Players are allowed to do it. It's collusion when it's management/ownership.

I am going to guess that your QH is pretty spot on, but I'll swing for the fence with a 9.25 x 8 on EP.
- Beergu

Feel like EP would want $10.5M plus on an eight year deal but I could be wrong.

AZ been doing this for 10 years, they suck, and they are proof the 'trade for draft picks' doesn't always work.
- canucksfan1944

They are buying a new arena . They have new management . Quite possible they are trying to change things.

I don't mind Pouty, but would take the best power forward in the game today, Brady, over Pouty, who sometimes looks like Bambi on ice, all day, everyday.

Any guesses on the contracts before it's released today or tomorrow?

My guess Petey at 8.25m over 5 years, and hughes at 7.5m over 8 years.

Any contract over 3 years is an overpay for both. One year sample size isn’t cutting it

My offer if GM…
Hughes 2/5m show me
Petey 8/9.25m

Sides continue to hammer away on deals for Pettersson and Hughes. Hearing new contracts for Canucks could come as soon as tonight.

8.5 or 8.75 million per year I’m guessing.

Sounds AAV for Pettersson will be under $8 million on a three-year deal.

This seems decent for both parties. QH seems a little high on AAV.
