Frost centering Farabee and JVR, and I still didn't notice him in that period, not good. I hope he starts picking things up.

Had a Frost sighting, he made a nice poke on the forecheck which set up JVR for a scoring chance. Good hustle there.

Yeah 1st the Flyers dominated. 2nd period the Caps have controlled a lot of the game in a sort of slowed-down NY Islanders kind of way. Closed gaps, neutral zone pretty clogged, etc.

Jones so far having a better night today compared to the Boston game but he still looks off on simple plays (IMO).

Yes, I just don't see it, I don't see anything special with Frost. No shot, not instincts, no speed, no tenacity in his game. What exactly does this kid do well that makes him a potential top 6 forward? I'm not seeing it this pre-season so far, I didn't see it last season before he got hurt, nor did I see it the year before that.

Only saw the highlight of the Atkinson goal but that is exactly what he was brought in for, gritty hard nosed go to the net goal.

It looks weak because he’s beaten 5 hole on a slow shot but that move included a good shot fake and when that happens it can be hard to close th five hole as you stretch to stop the guy from going around you.
