I'm not saying it's not a fair offer but the Kings from what I know will not include Byfield in any deal. I know Gretzky got traded twice so anything is possible but #55 will be in LA for a very long time. You could probably do that deal with Turcotte instead of Byfield and something other than Maata.

Im not an OTT or LA fan but change Fagemo for Brown.

Believe me I would love to swap in Brown instead of Fagemo but I think Brown in LA is very similar to Doan in Arizona.

Tkachuk is a very overrated player. He stands out in Ottawa because there's been no one other than Chabot to put things into perspective.

Tkachuk is a second line LW and you shouldn't be paying a second line LW eight million dollars if you want to have a team that is a true cup contender.

Stop playing nice with this guy. Offer him six to seven and tell him he's not playing hockey anywhere until he signs. I'd even put in a deadline. Sign by this date or your season is over. His dad can give him tips on his golf game.

Whatever happens you do not give this guy the C. That goes to Chabot. Tkachuk has proven that he is not captain material and who the hell needs his dad and brother as a cancer in the Ottawa dressing room. Ship his ass out of town the first good trade opportunity that comes round and I mean ASAP.

This is assuming he's holding out for more money. If it's about something else like structure or some other unknown then I'm inclined to flip 180 degrees or at least be more sympathetic.

Way too soft. Plays on the outside. More ice dancer than hockey player. Disappears when the going gets tough. Goes into hiding during playoffs.

I am not a huge fan of Eichel. Prefer the Sens pass on him.

But, if Sens are forced to deal Tkachuk the best deal for them and Buffalo is a straight up trade of Eichel for Tkachuk.

Both remain negotiable assets and both teams increase the possibility of finding a better second level solution to the impasse.

Sens are not going to take back any 3rd or 4th line player. They already have too many really good players in camp fighting for jobs.

If Sens do a deal it must be for a 1st or 2nd line centre.
