There was a lot of time to contemplate the reaction.

Hopefully the franchise won’t try and use it again in 2030.

Bring him back around Christmas and send someone else down then. The team can’t afford to be teaching on the fly if they want to make the playoffs. They need to be winning right away and even though Podkolzin might eventually be a more talented player, he’s not there yet.
