What is the over under on Chiasson making the opening night lineup? Don’t see the fit based on my limited knowledge of the player - TG likes dependability - CoolerHeads
I'm not sure, Drance doesn't have him on a line but has him on the PP.
Classic Lefty, goes for tacos. Still ends up with hotdogs - neem55
Wife and I went to the D’Backs vs Dodgers game last Sunday and I had a foot long dog at the ballpark, wow was it good, but it was $15 just for the dog.
This was $7.25 for happy hour plus $5 for two beers, we get royally screwed in Canada on prices.
I’m flying to Orange Beach Alabama (Mobile) for a tuna fishing trip next week for $79 one-way, I can also fly to Seattle from Phoenix for $89 one-way. To fly from Phoenix to Vancouver is $600, it’s a complete rip-off in Canada.

Be careful what you eat, you don't want to get sick.

So far other than Pod only Hunt is worth considering. The rest are AHLer call ups at best. OJ was ok but still his turns are horrible & a real concern. I suggest he never pinches til that’s fixed.
Roster cap wise paper 2 to Abby & start with 20 then LTIRetire Ferland to get back to 21 or more as needed.
If it is mental illness , I believe he can be put on LTIR. Drouin had it last year and was put on LTIR. - VANTEL
If that’s the case did he disclose that before signing? If not then he signed a contract not in good faith imo. The situation is more than strange to say the least.
The ad's between the paragraph's make it a bit annoying to read. (I know that's not your fault or problem)
Just thinking there could be a better set up for the ad's on the page.
To hockey now
I haven't really looked at the schedule this year. 4 times seems light for a division opponent this season even with another team added. Is it 2 away 2 home for the series? - manvanfan
The math…
Division games 7x4=28
Inter conference 8x3=24
East conference 16x2=32
84 total games 2 to be removed.
It’s not light at all.
Still odd we have Petey at three years and Hughes at six years. Kinda thought that would be reversed but oh well see where it goes. Glad they are signed however. - LordHumungous
My take is Petey will cost more & the cap wasn’t there.
Really interesting to look at how Van's deals expire over the next 5 years. As much flak as Benning gets, once you get past this year, you can't deny that the team is set up quite well to have money coming off the books every single time a young RFA will need a raise. You can see the logic in who is signed for how long and why.
As stated in this video, it's predicated on the core being good enough to win a cup one day, which of course is an entirely different debate, but seeing it laid out like this made me understand the Petey and Hughes deals better.

Capfriendly is a wonderful tool but blows up the narratives of JB haters who conveniently don’t use it. Just sayin…🤪

I'm now framing this in my mind more like Jonathan Drouin's situation with the Canadiens last year. Basically, Hamonic will simply be away from the team — until he isn't.
So he will be 25 and an RFA with arbitration rights. If they can’t come to a long term arrangement they can still go 1 year and he’s an RFA again. - 1970vintage
