You.... You realize that you label people in a post where you tell people to not label others, right? You do see the hypocrisy, right? - Darksyde
Congratulations, my friend, you have just discovered satire. Employ it with care so that you may receive responses like this. |

For what it's worth, I agree.
Wideman might not be an amazing option, but he's definitely the one that stood out for the "offensive defenseman" job available.
Was Fleury claimed off waivers yet? Should we?
- Scabeh
yeah it would kinda make sense, they don't have that much depth on D, but perhaps they changed their mind about him |

nothing in the preseason is real so most judgments are meaningless. that being said, my one takeaway is that Chris Wideman should make the team. in the context of Montreal's D he has a unique skillset and he can skate. he's earned a shot i would think. and i say this fully aware that i will be calling for his banishment back to Russia by the end of October. - DoubleDown
I was saying this the other day but I fully agree. I've been pleasantly surprised by Wideman |

im not a Blue Jays fan by any means but out of all the possibilities that existed going into those games yesterday, to end up with a single Yankees-Red Sox elimination game seems so anti-climactic. |

Looked good: regulars
Looked bad: Everyone trying to make the team. - BashCH
Guhle looks good. Still think he should go back to the WHL
Didn't see the game Saturday but apparently Primeau was solid.
It's a bit of a weird training camp this year. They kept so many AHL and ECHL guys around for so long. Curious to see the lineup tomorrow

Sure but Guhle was never gonna make the team, he didn't even play 5 games last year. Primeau looked solid indeed. But the guys who were really fighting for a spot have almost all been pretty disappointing (Perreault, Paquette, Poehling, Lehkonen). At this point I'd almost think about keeping RHP since he's had a better camp than all of them. |

i had my eye on it. he didn't have to do anything. i suspect they'll keep Primeau in Laval so he can split time with McNiven. i expect Price's absence to drag on for weeks and they'll ride Allen pretty hard in that time. |

I didn't think he was, but the way he's played I'm not sure I'd give him the spot he was supposed to have... |

im sure it will be. i think the pickup though does mean that they're not expecting Price back any time soon.
