Hope he has a big year - Hank Balling
He might, just might be one of those late round players that make an impact at the NHL level.

Agreed.
Quinn should be next. - Powerslave

Quinn could be getting by on the hasek/smelik rule.
Peterka playing well as a 2nd rounder, can't embarrass the first rounder with a demotion... |

Bulldog said it in regards to UPL live on GR, Terry doesnt like waiting for prospects especially first rounders.
Wonder if there is pressure there to keep Quinn here for a longer look |

And I thought it might be a reach, also, and he wasn't who I expected them to pick.
But he's here. |

Fvck Terry. Should not matter what he wants. Someone needs to get him away from the rink. |

this is appalling, and the main reason why we've witnessed the worst 10 years of sabres hockey in franchise history |

Here's something new to cry about
A new round of Sabres cuts are in:
Weissbach, Malone, UPL, Laaksonen, Pekar, and MacInnis all have been assigned to the Amerks. - Powerslave
Not really any surprises there. |

i don't have the empirical data to back this but it would seem that rookie gm's make many mistakes with their first picks and first drafts...their "vision" seems to get in the way

I genuinely feel bad for the players and coaches who have to play in front of 4,000 surly fans this year. Everyone deserves better |

The rear view mirror is only useful in a car. Early returns show Adams could have used his 2020 first round pick more intelligently. He's a talented kid and may take a while. So be it.
I'm not going to sit in a safe space and (frank)ing cry about it though. - TheSabresTaco
I think we have to give Adams a mulligan for his 1st year on the job. The anger should be focused on the Pegula's for stripping away all support Adams needed to even have a clue about what to do. The results show it in spades as the preponderance of his moves were highly questionable at best. The only one that looks very good is the trade up for JJP.
Year 2 looks better, especially with the rather apparent goal of tanking with dignity.
The big question mark is the trade return for Eichel when/if it ever happens. I give Adams credit for not caving just to get him out of here..he has rightly placed a high value on Jack and he is holding firm. It's the right move given the options on the table. |

i remember all the barbs thrown the panthers, hurricanes and coyotes way (among other teams) throughout the years because of ultra-low attendance...terry's sabres are up sh!ts creek revenue-wise |

Once they suspend Eichel their payroll will be at $54m
Efficient, effective and economical |

Do you trust Kevyn Adams to turn this around ?
Do you trust Kevyn Adams to get the right deal for Eichel ?
He was responsible for blowing that draft pick and drafting Quinn was he not ? - Pegullaville
Don't trust anyone in the front office right know, but all I can do is hope Adams is the one to get it right. |

And its all because of himself.
Coulda payed O'Reilly, as well as many other things and we'd be in a different place than were at now.
I guess not paying the 7 million is better than losing millions and millions over the last 3 years... quick mathes

The fans who have stuck through this decade of poop? Sure.
The players? Probably?
The Sabres organization? Hell no. |

If it was solely based on training camp performance to date, Quinn would be sent down today and Weissbach would be getting at least one more look, but we know it's never just performance based. |
