Give aways and risky passes are on the player. When you rely on other players regarding positional play it can be your D partner, wing on that side, center someone who missed a pass so no I don't necessarily agree with you.

He could get a decent return at the TDL honestly. Signing good vets, cheap isn't the worst way to nickel and dime our way to something.

If you're mentioning 9 games right now, then it doesn't feel like you're convinced the NHL is the best place for him.

This decision should be based 100% on what's best for his development.
