If you're mentioning 9 games right now, then it doesn't feel like you're convinced the NHL is the best place for him.
This decision should be based 100% on what's best for his development. - Lunaion
You and the other poster mentioned 9 games, I did not.
Why is Rochester better for his development then the NHL? |

So you’d agree making really bad plays leads to bad analytics?
I think we have common ground on a reasoning a certain someone had terrible underlying numbers for 8 years.
I think we can move past it now - sbroads24

Because Rob Ray said it was?
What kind of answer are you expecting to that? We've seen a lot of guys rushed to the NHL recently. Hasn't been pretty.

If Peterka looks ready, and he does, I see no harm in starting him in the NHL.
If he stumbles, so be it and send him to Rochester.
I don't see an issue. |

I appreciate the long term development of guys like goaloffson for sure.
Peterka looks like one of those unique guys that is ready.
Happens time to time.

I see I'm in the minority here, but I'd still start him in Roch and let him play in worlds.

I think keeping him in Rochester is the best play as well.
I just think the optics of sending him down after the preseason he has had doesn’t send the best message.
That’s my reasoning for him playing his 9 games now than getting sent down. |

Play Aaron Dell 30 games and there is no way this team doesn’t finish last. |

I respect your opinion. ☝️
I need something to be excited about going to the games. Sabres start with a nice 4 game home stand.
Could steal 5 points to start. |

Damn Thompson too - Bufsaints8
If only they skipped the 60 minute game and went straight to shootout we’d really be getting somewhere. |

Sabres are definitely better than last year. Scored 4 goals in one game against DeSmith. That’s like two seasons worth for the last team. |

Can't wait for Jack Quinn to continue his physical and mental development so that he has a chance to use that shot consistently, cause god damn is it good. |

Not with Cody Eakin in the NHL. |
