Coffey was pretty much washed up by the time he played for the Flyers. Really sad if he was the best PP QB we have had over the past 25 years! You may be right though. - jd250
Pronger was pretty solid. |

How can you “be” concerned? Flyers have 10 guys that won’t be playing either in tonight’s lineup. Besides Wylie doing his best Phil Myers impersonation on the PK, they have played OK. - landros 2
The Flyers PP tonight have their top players on it against Bruins' B players, and they have not looked good on the PP, until Couts just scored late in the 2nd. |

Well, Yands is pretty much washed up too lol.
But man, does he still look like Superman on the PP. - Tomahawk
Yes. It’ll be a good signing if he can bring it to the reg season |

It’s the preseason. It’s about getting the reps in. They moved the puck pretty good on the other pp’s but just didn’t finish. |

Frost looks lost. - Phillywhiteout
Yes and no, he still makes subtle little plays to keep pucks in or chip them out but he needs to control the puck and make things happen

I effing HATE the Bruins! This Flyers team should be crushing them tonight! |

Kimmo Timonen was pretty dam good. As was Chris Pronger. - MJL
Streit, Kimmo, Rico, Ghost, Johnsson were all pretty good.
Pitkanen and Prongs were even better.
But man, maybe it's recency bias, but Yands' swagger on the PP looks unreal. |

It’s just a nothing burger for him. Nice zone entry here and there but idk he doesn’t seem to be involved. That line has not been good. Really
Hope he hits a switch soon. |

Gotta admit Yandle has looked really good so far….way more steady then Gus looked at any time last year in a similar role. |

Yes! You stated it exactly, they can't finish! This has been the Flyers' problem on the PP for a few seasons now. I want to see Atkinson, Farabee and G firing that puck and picking corners! |

The sky is falling the sky is falling! Blowout. Rebuild! They’re terrible!
Maybe wait a few games before making a bold prediction like they can’t score and completely suck? Nah. - Hextall271
Wait a few games? Why? They aren’t playing bad. You get that right. They are playing up to their abilities. They just aren’t good. Slow. Not highly skilled. It is what it is. Turn another game on and see the difference. And I’ll add av blows as a coach. So you don’t even get an advantage there. This team will be drafting in the 10-12 range. Middling. |

I’m really not sure why anyone questioned him, guys been a PP QB for a decade plus. Finally the deception I’ve been asking for, Provy was way too stationary and Ghost lost his mojo a few years ago. I like Ellis on PP2. |

Exactly. I want to give them like 20 games to gel before knowing what we’ve got. They’ve got a lot of new players.

Yes, another nothing game from him tonight so far. I really have seen nothing from him that tells me 1. he wants the make the team and 2. he is close to ready to make the team. |

Yandle is still one of the top 5 PP defenseman in the league. When he has the puck in 5 on 5 play and is not pressured, he can pass the puck on a dime. The question is how in more intense regular season play, can he handle a heavy forecheck and puck battles down low and in coverage around the net.

Oh Wow, actually 55 points in 94 games, he was better for the Flyers than I thought! |
|
|
|
I was wondering if he’d be pp1. But wow. He’s really solid imo. Doesn’t look cooked at all haha - Hextall271
I for sure thought he was a lock on PP2 but now I have zero doubt he's in the top unit. |
