Yandle is still one of the top 5 PP defenseman in the league. When he has the puck in 5 on 5 play and is not pressured, he can pass the puck on a dime. The question is how in more intense regular season play, can he handle a heavy forecheck and puck battles down low and in coverage around the net.

Bottom pair guy who runs your pp seems like a great way to deploy him. A strong pp can really change momentum etc as you know. As long as he can hold his own at 5 on 5 should work wel.

Probably not. He started hot last season then kinda cratered. A real liability in his own zone. But his effect on the PP and transition too good to bench -- probably why he's got that streak going.

Sure I’d like to see Frost doing more but I don’t think he’s even a little ready to play NHL games.
He hasn’t played in over a year.
Maybe he ends up being a tweener in his career.
I’m just not gonna kill the kid at this point.

They’ll be better than last year for sure. But I definitely see a lot of 2-1…3-1 losses this season. I mean I guess it’s better than the 5-1 6-2 losses last season

If you're not going to use Yandle on your top PP unit then there is no reason to sign him. There was never a doubt that he wasn't going to be on the top unit.
