I figured TSN would have the football game and Sportsnet would have the hockey game.

I find streamed games are delayed and I always had to go find some pirate site to get a decent free stream without all the crap popping out at you

That serotonin/sleepiness thing is an urban legend

Every Thanksgiving, myths of the quasi-magical powers of tryptophan rise again.

There’s the turkey/drowsiness myth: Eating lots of juicy turkey meat supposedly makes people feel tired because it contains an amino acid called tryptophan. This molecule travels into the brain, where it’s converted into a neurotransmitter called serotonin, which in turn is converted into a hormone called melatonin. Voila! Sleepiness.

But science and the internet agree: It’s not the turkey’s tryptophan to blame for your post-feast nap. All protein sources, and even vegetables, contain some tryptophan; turkey isn’t at all special in this regard.

So the sleepiness myth of turkey may be fading

I'm feeling your assessment. Tampa is still strong but they aren't quite as formidable. Florida has Sammy Bennett but will he regress hard and is Verhaege for real? Boston I think will be fighting for the final playoff spot -- Ullmark is going to have to prove he's something special for the team to challenge for the top spot, methinks.

For me, first and second day is ok, after that my dog gets the rest. For that reason we're buying smaller turkeys than we used to. Trying a new cranberry sauce recipe that I got from a friend last Thanksgiving (was the best)

Ingredients : Cranberries, navel oranges (rind and juice) Lemons rind only
Sugar - as required
Spices - cinnamon, nutmeg (fresh ground), Vanilla bean (fresh ground)

can grind spices in an electric grinder or old fashioned way in a mortar and pestle

Its amazing what quality spices will do for food. Fresh high quality organic vanilla beans sell for over $300/LB. Those thinking that a $10 jar of extract is the same thing are mistaken.
