I am not sure if you know this Donny, but a team that just acquired roster players in Loui, Beagle, Roussel, Ladd, and dealt players like Dvorak, Garland and Keumper, are kind of telling the NHL they want to lose.
Even then, I still don't think Gadjovich gets claimed. Its not only his skating that lacks. He isn't NHL ready, and the claims being made are for opening night rosters.

I know I’m butting in here but does Gadjovich really deserve this much attention from us? I always thought he was slightly above scrap level. If he clears or gets claimed who gives a (frank)? He’s not irreplaceable.

no, he doesnt at all. thats why i dont get what the whole fuss is about. He isn't better than any current option we have now who is fighting over a bottom 6 roster spot, and the liklihood of a team needing his services on an opening night roster is slim to none given teams are looking to offload players, not take on at this point.

Sure, they are trying to lose. But they should be harvesting value on the waiver wire. Lose with a kid with upside vs a pos like Loui. Exactly why Buffalo and Arizona will always suck

Opening night roster spots are more valuable than a fringe NHLer who still is a ways away from being a regular.
