So...30 days minumum, add to that some training time (assuming the knee surgery rehab is behind him), that takes us the end of November at the earliest.
I don't know if I trust a Allen-Montembeault tandem and that defense to keep the Habs afloat.
Yeah, I feel like a douche for being worried about this. |

Depends if your next word is up. Pretty much the only acceptable way of saying it.

I am not sure a healthy Price really moves the bar that much further along, just likely closer to not making the playoffs.

bah, I mean, is there an unwritten rule that we have to wait a certain period of time before talking hockey again? you can both be worried for the guy and his hockey team going into the season.
perhaps we'll be pleasantly surprised by the team's CHaracter, who knows... |

Drouin day 1: we need to respect his absence and what he's going through. We absolutely shouldn't speculate as this is way beyond hockey.
By Drouin day 3: Tatar (frank)ed his gf but it may be a good way to get outta his contract |

2 things here...
it's highly unlikely that whatever issue he's dealing with can be dealt with in 30 days, at least to the point that he's ready to resume his life as a professional athlete.
secondly, we're allowed to be concerned by what this means for the team's on-ice fortunes. it doesn't mean we don't care about the player getting better. but we can do both. but beware, the media is going to get on a horse nauseatingly high about this. they're going to be insufferable over the next few days in reminding us that we are not allowed to think about on-ice ramifications.
