Yes, the claim that you didn't have the same camera angle as others, is spin. You inferred that Frost was not competing and not playing hard. That is not the case as we have 3 sources, the GM, the coach and Bill Meltzer who all disagreed with that assessment. You haven't stated a single fact. You offered an opinion. This doesn't even address your comments on how this relates to Frost's potential.

are the gm, coach and bill meltzers' comments opinions, or are they facts?

Until Allison and Hayes return, the 4th line is a dumpster fire.

If L4 is the worst of their problems, then they should be OK.

I'm more worried about the PK, Brassard 2C, the loss of Jake's transition/playmaking and how Hart and Risto will hold up under fire.

I really hope Yandle plays well and he's here for a few years. Guy really is a beauty.

2C is the major issue facing the team. Unless they're willing to move Giroux to center, which it appears they aren't, the Flyers don't have a 2C. The other related worry is how is Hayes going to return from a core muscle injury.

As far as your other players, Ristolainen "checks all the boxes" and the GM changed the culture. Filled all of the teams needs.

Maybe a little. But there was also this:

That's pretty faint praise... "a quality NHL player". That's what Fletch says about 4th liners going back and forth to the AHL.

Brassard will get off to a somewhat fast start with an adrenaline rush. Then he will slowly come back down to earth. AV will over play both him and Nate.

The GM did change some of the culture. That cant be denied. My own opinion is Ghost and Bobby where malcontents to an extent.

Quick random question. When Laughton has played center, was it ever in a 2nd line role?

I feel like he had at some point. Can't remember linemates or even how he performed in the role. Would Lindblom have been a winger on his line?

agreed 100%, building a team is a puzzle, ,making sure the pieces go together, not just squashing good players on a a team. And Jake hasnt fit into that puzzle in a long time. Glad chuck figured it out, and hopefully he picked the right pieces. But changes DID need to happen.

Just shows you what "value" Bobby had. He is a clearly superior player than Cam.

I think they’re in a good spot in general. I like how the d has seemed so far as well as how hart has looked. Every team has injuries so we just have to weather the storm. I’d be surprised if Hayes comes back and has a sting year with all that’s happened to that guy. No excuses though. Improve the pk and pp and we’ll do well.

Does injury have anything to do with Frost's play in the pre season?
- MJL

I have not heard of anything related to Frost and an injury.

Ridiculous semantics argument on your part. Either way, he got his opinion correct as opposed to yours.

More spin as you again move the goal posts. If you're looking at the effort of a player, you ignore play away from the puck? That would be 95% of the time for a player. LOL First it was the camera angle, now you were only paying attention to offensive play. Absurd.

- MJL

The only one who is absurd here is you! Yes, I have an opinion and I stated it. There is really nothing more to talk about here.

Interesting isn't it and MJL didn't have a response to this? He is nothing more than a fraud that just likes to try to make people wrong all the time, I feel bad for him actually.

Thank Goodness that Fletcher signed Brassard to fill in until Hayes recovers, you know that "just another body" as you referred to him as .....

Are you unaware that he had a serious shoulder injury that cost him a full season combined with covid that caused him to play a handful of games in a 500+ day period? Could that have anything to do with his rustiness offensively?

We'll find out what he is when the real games start. I did not refer to him as just another body. You are not accurate.

Why would I need to respond to that comment? Why do you need to move the conversation off of hockey and comment on me personally?
