i like him and the signing. he doesn't have to be an every game player but gives the team some vet reliability. his only negative is that he's a former oiler.

just like every year, depth is what makes or breaks teams. this team looks like it's geared for offense so you're on the mark with the BB reference. you need a guy like chiasson who's at least somewhat dependable for offense and can provide some pp help (as codes mentioned.)

chiasson is a guy who can conceivably provide spot duty when someone with a more substantial offensive role gets injured.

Its definitely good that they have enough quality players to spread across two PP units now but 25 seconds for the 2nd unit will waste that luxury. Going to have to give the 2nd unit around 45 seconds to make it worth it or you may as well just go balls to the walls with the 1st unit again.
