If I had to guess, his injury (that he admitted hadn't fully healed) is a bigger deal than has been let on. Reminds me of his drought at the end of last season before we knew what was going on with him.

Although no goals, he’s been the best Hawk tonight, followed by Hagel. Stillman had one bad play, but otherwise he’s been decent.

Not saying he’s a bust. He can get chances. Finishing them has been another story. So is it confidence or a lack of finishing talent? That’s usually the dividing line between the top 6 and top 9 guys. Ability to score consistently.
