But it’s not like they told GMTM to trade a 1st for Lehner,
or told Botts to specifically sign a backup quality goalie (Hutton) who had good numbers with a good defensive team in front of him

And it’s not like the previous owners said to draft Miller in the 5th round
Or to trade for Chicago’s awkward backup goalie (Hasek)

There’s just no connection there imo

they told murray to speed up the rebuild

they then told botts to finish the rebuild when he got hired

they then said when dahlin was drafted, speed up the rebuild, playoffs or bust
