sabres had roughly the same roster for the last 30 games of the season and were just okay

they just had a monster game out of okposo who was a corpse stealing a roster spot last season

forgive me for being skeptical

the only thing i am not skeptical about is they will have plenty of fun games this season. they dumped a coach who sucked the life out of every single game to a coach that wants to attack and have fun and try to score goals. they were always going to be worth watching, if they end up being good it will be amazing.

We’re just happy. Is this team making a playoff run? Certainly not. Was it great to see a solid effort that resulted in a 4 goal win to open the season when the off season was nothing but gut punch after gut punch? You bet.

Is this going to be the outlier or the norm? Outlier certainly. But I love to see the effort. Team seems to be playing for each other l, but adversity will test that.
