$220 for a ticket in the green or purple section
no thanks.
Half way to buying a new washing machine with that coin they want. - dmnted
I saw row 2 of the 300's for $220 each. Yes it's pricey but to put it into perspective in the past, for those seats at a home opener your looking at somewhere in the ballpark of $400 or more per seat.
I actually don't even think there is a ticket at face value under $100 now at the Scotiabank arena for a Leafs game?

Hopefully, some mid week games will be even cheaper. Maybe I'll take the kids to a game. |

Getting into Rogers Centre was no problem at all. I liked that they had a pod section that was kept a bit restricted. That might still be an issue for some people - Canada Cup

Two golds behind Leafs net: Section 103, row 11 - $312.20 each.
And fun fact: row 11 is really the 7th row. |

I have sat in gold seats in that area.
Can't see poop at the other end of the ice.
And Jimmy Mcdranktoomuch won't stop randomly standing up in front of you and blocking every exciting play.

In my mind, the perfect seats are about 16-20 rows behind the opposition net.

By 5 pm, you'll be able to get a ticket for under $100.

I think this will be the first Leafs home opener I've ever missed at the ACC since its inception. Frankly, I'm not too broken up about it.
I imagine it's going to be an absolute poopshow at the gates just to get in as people fiddle with their devices to dig up not only vaccine receipts but their tickets. It's already extra annoying that security has to do their usual anti-terrorism baggage/empty-your-pockets-of-every-(frank)ing-piece-of-detritus-you-have checks that any additional protocols put in place might literally put me into a soul-sucking coma waiting to get in.
Opening night can pass this year. Hoping they work the kinks out quickly because I do miss watching the game live for the 1st period and then the rest of the game in the Draught Deck (or whatever the hell it's called) drinking expensive beer.
And yes, I do realize how privileged and first world problem-ish that all sounded. - mjones242
First time in years I'm missing this one too. I'll be at BMO field instead (don't laugh you (frank)ers). Huge game for Canada tonight! Men play soccer too. |
