For example, Vladar got an A+ and Markstrom got an A. Markstrom is currently the better goalie, but Vladar surpassed what was expected of him in a small sample size.

Thank you sir, appreciate the response, but agree to disagree. Some of the guys disappointed regardless IMO. Monny for example only appeared in 2 games and was expected to show he could perform somewhat back towards his level of 2-3 seasons ago, and I dont feel he inspired much more confidence in his game. Yes, it was in a limited basis, but still didn't do much to inspire. On the other hand Duher yes looked very good, and I can understand your reasoning for a greater grade. Especially based upon the further explanations of reasoning. But if a Duher gets an A+ type score, some of the vets had to disappoint and deserve a lesser ranking.

Not just the ones expected to leave more to be desired. You had to feel a Tkachuk, Johnny, Elias, ect would perform better in preseason. Like Tippett in Florida had a great preseason, but Reinhart left a lot on the table. Much like last year Weegar looked awesome, but Yandle didn't do enough.

Old? My balls still haven't reached my knees. And more of a Panthers/Jets fan these days, but I do enjoy watching the high octane offense from the Oilers over the meh of the Flames recently. Too bad their Defense is non-existent.

Because I think they have built a slow, boring, trap type team that may not survive today's game. And I don't know if they have enough offense to counter attack. Should have a few fun guys to watch, but I don't know if Lucic, Richardson, Gudbranson, Tanev, and Zadorov can help this club compete in this days game. But good luck.

Have you made it to the surroundings yet? Baños was awesome. I spent new years in Mindo. If you can leave ecuador, there is a tiny little surf village in Northern Peru, Mancora... highlight of my time there. Miss it every day. wish I could be back.

Dude, I have spent a lot of time in both Baños and Mindo. The great thing about Quito is there are a lot of places to visit for the weekend. I have a friend with a Cabin about 20 minutes outside of Mindo that I visit quit often.

A couple of years ago I was working on a project in Southern Ecuador and had a long weekend off, so I drove to Mancora. Loved it. Seems to be a lot of sleepy fishing beaches to explore North of Mancora that I would like to check out.

If you ever head back to this part of the world let me know and I can give you some good recommendations.
