Fortunately, there doesn't seem to be much of this stuff at my job. Maybe because everyone has a very high degree of education. Doesn't mean they don't have problems, but most of them don't seem to bring them at work. - BashCH
The people leading these issues for the most part are highly educated and highly talented. I'm not throwing out the word nihilism to sound like I aced high school philosophy...if money, flexibility and job satisfaction are good I'm not sure what I can do...and the attitude seems to be spreading |

Well that sucks, not much you can do. Can't make people happy, it has to come from them. Just listen and give the best advice you can. |

Giving the one guy a paid week off to volunteer at the food bank is my latest idea to try and get some understanding of the world outside of their bubble but no idea if it'll work. On the plus side he's not only open to the idea but somewhat excited about it. From a business perspective losing him would hurt |

yeah remember when they got female dog slapped by honduras 8-1 and now honduras is the bottom feeder?
Bench cleared yesterday like a ball game, real concacaf game - Fredobbface
wouldn't say bottom feeder since all the teams in the final round are decent. but i remember that miserable day. those teams back then had guys who were playing in USL, guys who were unattached, guys who were playing in third and fourth-tier leagues in Europe. it's amazing the talent they've developed. a lot of guys on that team could have played for other countries.

It's kind of insane that Canada has produced a top-15ish individual talent and a top-20 finisher at the same time. |

By Canada you mean Liberia and Ghana?
Just kidding Davies moved here when he was 5 and grew up playing for clubs in Edmonton, he's 100% a Canadian soccer player which is awesome for the sport

but he came through the Canadian system, which is the good sign. most important thing is to get these talents the (frank) out of North America as early as possible once they go pro.

First start by a french canadian goalie for the habs since 2006 (Theodore) for Montembeault tonight? |

Replacing him, even with a good person, would take years of development. I can't imagine what big firms are going through especially with the numbers head hunters are throwing out there for professionals to poach from other companies out of desperation. If anybody is a professional and wants a raise or better working situations hit up the head hunters TODAY |

you would think so. if you can't start him in Buffalo on a b2b... when can you start him? that said, Allen was pretty sharp last night.

I caught the second and third period of the game. Offensively we missed Hoffman especially on the power play. Mostly on the power play to be honest. He’d have been nice to have on that 5 on 3.
Price being away from the team is going to tough on the squad too. He’s the heart and soul of the team even if he tends to have his issues during the regular season the last few seasons.
The defence, was a mess from what I saw. Again, Weber being done has been a big loss simply from stability and continuity. Gonna be an interesting season I think. |
