Flyers deserved better. Hopefully Carter will figure it out and fast. I’ll take the point.

I thought they deserved to lose honestly. Glad they came back and got a point out of it though. |

How did they deserve better? They gave up 4 second period goals. They played passive for 17 minutes of the third.
Bad luck bounce goals count as well.
The flyers were lucky to get a point. |

Two shoot out breakaways. Both skate 6 miles per hour. Neither get a shot on net.
Again and again and again.
How are pro coaches and players that stupid?????

Hart looked really small in OT, no challenge, off on his angles. When a player comes in from the side he takes away his angle but somehow Hart just backed into his net and gave it to him. - jd250
At least he steadied his game after the 2nd period…the shoot out goals he was out to lunch. Watched the replay on a couple of goals….Sanheim still doesn’t box guys out and at this point I think it’s just not something he will ever do well….but other then that I thought he played a sturdy game. Some positives? For this to be a playoff team both Farabee and Konecny need to produce like they did tonight. Ellis and Provy look really good.
Some negatives. PK still so passive…and still stinks. 4th line is terrible, and plays to much. Was hoping Hart would have a big night and he simply didn’t. 81 games left. |

Would have been nice to see Pattersson in a Flyers uniform - jd250
Any three at 3-4-5 after the stiff they took would have been better…but it’s over now. Both the guy responsible and the player are gone. But Ya Pettersson would have been a cornerstone add. |

Hart made some nice saves in the 3rd, but he let in too many soft goals. Hopefully he gets his act together soon? I'm tired of constantly hearing the announcers saying "Carter Hart would like to have that goal back".......... |

Calm down. Two fluke goals against. Not a big surprise that our shootout stunk. I hope they practice the shootout more. Hart was really good in OT and I think our guys could have played that better. Sanheim didn’t have a good game.
The goals for were all very exciting, and the crowd noise was electric. Fun to watch. Post game interviews were good. Gotta start with the good things and build as the team gels. One point. |

Only saw the first period and the second half of the third period along with overtime/shootout, so limited observations. Coots needs to shoot that puck in overtime!! Why does Provorov always seem to try and make that one extra move when he is taking the puck to the net? Hart needs to be better of course! One question for goalie gurus. It looks like he is always leaning forward. Is that his normal style or is he still out of sorts. Kind of makes him look small in net...almost hunched over and leaning forward. What's that? |

Lol reading back through these comments is jokes and obviously from the dame clowns. All this talk of how slow the team is yet they didnt look slow on the first.
Somehow its girouxs fault hart let in some bad goals
Some how starting the season off with a point is considered a useless point? Its game one.
Flyers had a fantastic start. They need to bring that for a full game. Its like the team isnt ready for pushback |

It’s one game. Scratched a point after it. One side will mention the terrible 2nd period. The other side will say that they managed to come back from 2 down.
Let’s move on. I think the Kraken are next? That should be interesting. Lookin forward to it. |

Side note - I’m sorry to see Ertz leave, but I’m glad she’s gonna get another shot at a ring potentially.
He said some really nice things on his way out the door. He didn’t have to. Always seemed like a guy who “got it.”
Think he’ll get a banner when he hangs em up? Just 10 catches away from Carmichael for all time receptions in an Eagles uniform, and he was a part of a championship team.
Always liked him. Wish him luck. |

2 unlucky goals didn’t help. How do you not like teams response? Last year we would have folded and let up 3 more goals |
