Never said Krebs was untouchable. He would obviously have to be part of any deal. But there just is no scenario where the cap can work and Vegas gets better. Salary has to go back to Buffalo and a lot of it. Vegas is already playing with a 20 man roster and if 2-3 of the big salaries are moved to Buffalo they still need to fill roster spots. So they call up guys from the minors for the rest of the year and this helps them how?

Way I understood it was yes they loved the job, yes they loved the people, no they didn't like the time change, didn't think they deserved the hour cut (ranked 17th hockey(?) show in America), yes they wanted to try something new and so they left on their own terms because of PSE's cut. I really don't think there's much more to the story than that. They found an opportunity to create something all of their own and they seized it. Good for them. I'm glad there's something to listen to now instead of PSE Propaganda.
