A few months ago I mentioned to Bill that the Flyers should be pursuing FA Filip Lindberg with an ELC. IMO he is better than any of the Flyers goalie prospects. Of course there is always an issue with the 50 contract limit. For at least one game last night, Lindberg proved me right. It’s unfortunate that he wound up in he Pens organization. This goes to the bigger problem why the Flyers continually use up contracts by resigning players like Rubtsov, Morin an others that have no shot of ever making an impact on the parent club.

Good article about the leafs cap situation. The 40 million 4 haha. I still say they’ve competed mismanaged it. They can’t afford to call up a backup goalie.

In recent years it seems cocaine is a popular drug in the NHL in general. Wouldn’t doubt it’s consistently been used for many years prior.

Grew up and worked in North Jersey. MSG about an hour away. Then moved to PA and worked in Pennsauken. Had to drive my one boss to rehab. His partner died of a cocaine induced heart attack. Coke was all over the place. Bad poop. Fentanyl is worse. Sad times indeed.
