Doesn’t seem; his dad confirmed it. Just terrible. Fentanyl has become its own little pandemic. - arichardson22
He’s gone , but still to hear that makes it seem even worse. That shiit is really dangerous. |

He should be getting around 60 games this year. I want him going at all times outside of back to backs - ClaudeFather
Depends on what season he’s having. Injuries and bad games pending. If Hart reaches what you suggest, that’s a good season. |

Ex Selke (third line center) - ClaudeFather
Coots has been a favorite of mine since he made the team. You have to watch close to see the subtle plays he makes. Always in the right place. Shuts down things and puts up points. Cant ask for more. |

Agreed, hopefully he can steady the ship here. If he can’t be the guy there’s not much hope for this season. |

Wade Reddon in Ottawa…Mike Richards in Philly….Theo Fluery in Calgary then NY....etc. Etc. Etc…. - landros 2
Half the league does coke. The other half is hooked on oxy. And if you're Mike Richards, you take all of the above. |

There are going to be some, and one can already see it coming, that turn on Carter Hart this season.
Instead of turning the attention to Fletcher. - FlyerFan3260
Harts a talented kid….who needs to be better then he has been in the last year or so. But everyone has seen what he’s capable of. He’s got a great chance this year with a more veteran D core in front of him to return to form.
As far as Fletch, he did make the lineup better this past off season…but did he go far enough? You only get so many kicks at the can as a GM. The Flyers were awful last year and the Flyers chose not to address the issues…we’ll see if the Flyers struggle again this year how the attention will indeed turn the GM. |

Grew up and worked in North Jersey. MSG about an hour away. Then moved to PA and worked in Pennsauken. Had to drive my one boss to rehab. His partner died of a cocaine induced heart attack. Coke was all over the place. Bad poop. Fentanyl is worse. Sad times indeed. - jaws1955
Using either never seems to end well. Fun during the party, but takes so much away. |

Going off of Bills Twitter, but rumors of Frost being benched for not playing within Lappy’s defensive structure?
They had a 6 on 3 at the end and sat him?
Sometimes the development, I just question. For now, and god how I respect it. Bill is calling it out a bit himself.
“ I think it was already loud and clear. But ehen it gets to a 6 on 3, down a goal with a minute-plus left, you put him out there with all that open ice.”
“ Frost deserved to be benched. He has overall struggled in both games so far. But to bench him in a 6-on-3 was overkill from Lappy given the time and score.” |

Winning is irrelevant with Phantoms developing players is the important thing. If he is not playing the system you bench him. 6 on 3 or 5 on 5 it doesn't matter. Hope he dorsnt turn into another Kravstov thinking he is owed an NHL job |

At some point though, you need to look beyond the players. Too many of these kids simply have stagnated or regressed.
At some point it’s not just the players but the developmental system they are in. |

Well, KK hasn’t panned, but yknow, the Fox guy is pretty good. Shesty looks capable. We’ll see about Lafreniere. He was comin around at the end of last season, and his line mates aren’t exactly chumps |

In recent years it seems cocaine is a popular drug in the NHL in general. Wouldn’t doubt it’s consistently been used for many years prior. - arichardson22
Yup, in plenty of sports. Lawrence Taylor and pretty much all of the 80s Mets are easy examples.
It’s outta your system in days, and those guy I’m sure don’t get stepped on crap, so it’s a huge kick in the ass come game time.
Plenty of people can get away with playing around with blow. Not saying it isn’t dangerous. Certainly is. But some can party and not get bit.
Fentanyl, though? That’s a different animal. Heavy stuff. Sounds like pain killers, no doubt from an injury, hooked another person. I’ve got two people very close to me who went through the same thing. It’s one of the ugliest things you can witness. Pain killers developed into heroin for both of them. I’m thankful they both got clean, but it took years and was a terrible battle. |

I know it’s only one game, and that he has a lot of rust work off, but Frost needs to get it going asap. The Flyers could badly use a skilled center with a low cap hit right now. |

Well Frost has a long way to go to show he can be that center. Getting benched 2 games into the phantoms season is rather interesting.

Gave up the blow when this poop started getting laced with fentanyl.
Fentanyl ruined a good drug.

I think the phantoms owners would disagree.
That being said how much faith do you have in "lappy" to develop players? The flyer incestuous ways will always continue. Until that is addressed development will continue to be an issue.

stone hands Agholor drops a wide open pass in OT - 2Real
I feel for Mac Jones. Every time this kids drop back to pass he is taking his life into his own hands given the Pats have horrible tackles. Then if that is not enough to deal with, Mac has to throw the ball exactly, precisely in the right place or his receivers have no chance to catch the ball, or worse its a pick 6. The kid comes into the NFL and actually get a downgrade in receiver talent. |
