I live in Boston and it is true, and sadly not surprising given the circumstances of his death, and talking to people that knew him. Fentanyl is a killer in and of itself, but when you mix it with cocaine you got no shot. Just another example how Fentanyl is destroying lives and families! - jd250
Fentanyl is not destroying lives. Self destructive behavior and addiction is destroying lives. Anyone who starts taking this knows the consequences.
This is like saying people who die of lung cancer from smoking is having their life destroyed by cigarettes.
I don’t mind Seeler as the fill in for the moment. He’s physical and tries to get engaged. A little sloppy at times but for a short term injury he seems to be a decent stop gap. If there is an injury later in the year hopefully One of the younger guys will have showed steady play in the AHL and deserve a call up .

According to reports, Hayes got addicted to pain killers when he got injured playing. He admitted this to his father but I'm not sure he sought help. This addiction, like most, evolved into cocaine and fentanyl, though not clear if he intentionally used fentanyl or if his cocaine was laced without him knowing it. Either way, you're right, I should have said addiction is destroying lives and families. However addictions start by taking addictive drugs, in this case pain killers. Prince went down the same path. If you want to stop addictions, you have to stop the additive drugs, whether they be prescribed or obtained illegally.
Vegas doesn't pick odds based on wins and losses. They set the line to encourage equal betting on both sides. The Kraken are an expansion team. They don't have any advantage and I don't care how many games they've played. The Flyers are the better team, therefore they have the advantage. Have to show up though and can't take any team lightly. - MJL
Yes, really glad Hart is back in there, he needs to have a bounce back game.

When you going to let the board know how to do a proper rebuild? Been waiting for days.

Well said. It’s a big problem in this country no doubt about it.

No painkillers, no hockey.
All those times we laud players for "playing through pain"... those are the painkillers enabling them to do it. Without pills, half the league would be out day-to-day.
Kesler had to take so many pills to make it through games that he developed colitis, poop blood 30-40 times per day.

I gave Seeler extra points for taking a puck off the grill in the first preseason game.
