Section 322, row 9 greens: $89.79 CDN each.

Section 104, row 29 reds: $118.08 CDN each.

It's like we are the Florida Panthers.

I’m still feeling a little crowd averse personally. Went to a ball game but was able to sit in a pod, a little bit isolated. The CDC stuff on boosters and waning protection for over 65s is making me a little less enthusiastic about an arena setting. That’s about the only thing I’m not into.

Between that and the tickets, I don't know what's worse

The whole contest is just reminiscent of being recruited into the squid game, but without the potential upside

good luck adam

A friend and I have been texting back and forth all day. We figure it's 3 things:

- general reluctance to go to a big arena in the age of the Cov
- the Bay Street Boys are not on Bay Street - they are working from home in Oakville and don't want to drive in
- people are generally pissed at the Leafs, and will hold a grudge until the playoffs.

I think it's a combination of all three.

You get 5% from the first, 10-25% from the second and 5% from the third, and you get a depressed ticket market.

Definitely this.

Going to a Leaf game from outside the city is a whole production. Leave work early. Drive in, pay for parking, watch how much you drink, fight traffic on the way out.

I'm still surprised more people in Toronto aren't jumping at these prices. I would.

Habs are also having trouble selling tickets. Even after going to the SCF.

Then again, I feel the original ticket prices are way too high considering how many people lost money in the last year and a half.... Maybe they'll come to their senses.

Point 1 is why I'm not.

I can watch from home or a never packed pub with 0 risk just fine, for now.

Young stupid me would be all over these ticket prices and driving down to the big smoke now to take full advantage.

Older "less stupid" me is not so fond of sitting with a bunch of people in a building for hours on end right now - especially with a mask on.

We aren't at Florida levels until you get 2 tickets + parking + hotdogs for the family + drinks for the family for under $100 per.

Simmons is a joke.

He went off on an article about the Alex Bishop thing calling the league and the leafs a joke.

Meanwhile in a flat cap it was just a random occurrence that turned out to be a really positive night for a young kid, which is all it should have been. The guy is angry at the world and his articles have no relevance.

- Santo_44

It is a joke and an embarrassment for the league. That fact they had to wait a day to call up Hutch is a joke.
It would be a simple change the league could do.

Yeah, completely hadn’t thought about that. It doesn’t completely explain the upper bowl stuff unless the plebes are able to buy the hoity toity seats leaving upper bowl seats cheaper.

Capitalism is clearly collapsing and it’s all Mitch Marner’s fault

It took you guys all day to figure this out?
:p
Same reason the home opener didnt sell out, you have to be vaxxed to enter and even those who are vaxxed are worried about big crowds.
No biggie.
Give it time, it will change.
Hopefully not soon, im liking the normal prices.

I felt totally fine, to be honest.

I knew everyone around me was vaxxed.

I knew I was vaxxed, and so were my kids.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to adhere to the protocols, but I'm not going to live in fear of it.

Section 318, row 13 purples: $67.65 CDN each.

Lower bowl: Section 115, Row 21 reds: $127.92 CDN each.

You haven't been able to buy reds this cheap for 25 years.

The near 2 year break gave people time to reflect on paying that much to go see a game

I go for the atmosphere, I went to 2 jays games for $15 for arguably better atmosphere...made me question paying anything over $100 to go.
