My friend and I were texting about the need for the fights last night. He's point was it was 5-0, etc... No need. My point was that it was a new group of guys, that it was nice seeing them come together. Although, I don't necessarily think this should occur all season. Sure, if somebody jumps Giroux... But, no fights for the sake of fights. I think last night fight's were 'organic' in nature - needed.

I think both fights were team oriented and not as selfish. Nate seemed fired up for his and we will never know what was said. But he did cause a scrub earlier by getting in Gs face. I liked the push back. Prefer the emotional fights and understand what your saying.

Really like Ellis. He quietly does defensive things we have not had in a few seasons. Beauty of a goal too.

They're both going to be tough games, so I don't know about shielding him. Wasn't it you who was saying you'd like to see Hart play about 60 games? If Jones starts 1 out of every 4, that puts Hart pretty much right there.

Ellis is exactly as advertised. A smart well rounded player who does a lot of little things well and can play in any situation. Gotta love that beard. He is the type of guy that makes other guys play better around him.
