Playing with mcjesus? Haven’t looked. They were smart and didn’t off load him for nothing. Very much reminds me of Kravtsov situation, and how they should handle it. Let it marinate in his skull that hes child like for a year or two, and then hope he grows up in the meantime |

Putting it out there…willing to bury the hatchet with Brukie. But something tells he won’t be willing to lol. Same with Rick, tones and whoever else hates me
I respect jan, and just disagree with him on pretty much everything since the summer. I went a little to far, so apologize for that.
Trying to be a better man! but I will not apologize for defending MY team and org to the death - Slimtj100

Just saying
Going back to your comment about me leaving the organization fan base as I'm frustrated with all the BS since the Wilson game. I've been through a lot more with this team through the years. I've stuck through us being the laughing stock of the league with the highest payroll by far and not even a sniff of playoff action for 8 years. I'm pretty sure I will get over the last 6 months. |

I’m not ditching anyone. Please don’t put words in my mouth, or fingers
And I’m I the only that sees the cap will go up drastically soon enough? Covid killed the cap and it’ll eventually be made up for…or else the union will blow up every arena they play in

If you didn’t see my apology please find it, or if you ignored it I’d appreciate knowing that aswell - Slimtj100
It's already on record the cap is flat for 3 years at least |

Yea yea I’m sorry to you too lol
The Wilson thing is so blown out of proportion as to that being the reason they did what they did this summer. That incident is just a microcosm of how little push back they gave teams for the last few years, and they just addressed it in a massive way. All I know is I feel much much more comfortable in those kinds of games then I did before that. Especially come April, and especially when we’ll still have 22 yrs old and under guys up and down the lineup that don’t want anything to do with that sort of thing. And It isn’t about fights or goonery as it is more about being an intimidating team and harder to play against. The proof is in the pudding with TB. They were pussies before they addressed the exact same thing as the rangers did this summer. And look what happen? The skill finally meshed with difficult players to play against, and they’re now b2b champions. Thus my intense frustration because we would talk endlessly about this problem in this blog for years!!! sorry if I don’t laugh I’ll cry
I’m not sure why this is so difficult to understand for the Drury haters. They just don’t get it
——
And anyone that liked me is no longer around
Anyway, welcome aboard and I’ll be nice to people now haha |

Yea eventually one mill per year increases isn’t happening with this union. They’ve been extremely patient with it, as they had to be. It’s almost back to the old normal for all these sports |

Rangers are in fact interested in Dylan Strome according to Brooks. Maybe it’s him they get for Kravtsov. At this point I would do that just to move on and we get an NHL player - Slimtj100
Strome is already making decent money on his current contract ..no thanks |

If he was on an ELC, I wouldn't be a bad idea, but not at 3mill per for 2 years |

Well, he was so sure of himself.
However it has been fairly well known now that the cap will be going up by 1m next year. Its rumored to continue to go up by 1m every year after that however thats not confirmed. Prior to COVID it was expected to take a significant boost which is why guys got some fat contracts.
The new TV deals has allowed for the league to make the small cap increase.
Oh yea also those little advertising things on the jerseys/helmets. |

When you wake up everyday, do you say to yourself man I can’t wait to be stupid today, or does it just happen?
Do you see the cap staying at this amount for the next idk 5 years? Do you realize it’ll skyrocket probably in like two years because covid has stalled it to where it is right now?
Keep being dumb Brukie 🤷🏻♂️ - Slimtj100
You do know the cap will go up next year, 1 million. Wow, Get Eichel, we can do TJ math and fit him in.

I remember the significant boost was going to happen. Gotta think that will kick in at some point.
NHL is in a good place with the PA, so you’d think they’ll play nicey nice when the time comes for said boost
The savings could be there for the rangers down the road. I thought zibs deal was cheaper than expected, by maybe a touch under two mill. 1.5 or something like that.
Then if you take them individually:
-We don’t have to worry about Shesty for awhile which is pretty important as that position makes some serious coin. When his raise his due, you figure the cap will finally be much higher then it is now. He’s probably already a bargain lol
-Fox’s will certainly cost them, but he could definitely take a hometown discount living his dream of being a Ranger. For life most likely
-Kakko doesn’t appear to be on the verge of any kind of significant raise (we were kind of expecting him too)
-Miller will get a nice bump, but nothing to crazy. Probably a bridge deal
-Chytil makes 2.3 now, he’ll need to be way better to get any kind of significant raise
-Strome. Who knows if he’ll even be resigned. If he does, 1.5-2 raise is probably fair. That would get him to 6-6.5, which isn’t awful
-Laf could hit it big, which obviously would be a good thing because he will have made it to the big time. Kinda want him to explode and get a payday
-Lindgrens next deal will only be a small raise
-Nils/Schneider aren’t going to be an issue at all before the cap bump up if by then they are succeeding. I see one of them traded downt he road anyway
————-
That’s really it. Most everyone else is already signed. I think we worry about the cap more than we should. Exhibit A is TB and exhibit B is Tronna. Both teams have figured it out
