Fairly good point haha

Kyrou has been disappointing up until these first few games tho. But I agree, may be to late for that trade

- Slimtj100

Not sure I'd say disappointing, he had 35pts in 55gp last year which would be about 52 over a full 82gm season. That's pretty good. Before that he had only played 44 games so I think he's growing into a very good player.

But yeah, I don't see the Rangers getting huge value for Kravstov. Maybe a good prospect but I don't think they're getting a ton for him.

I’m sorry man. I can’t blame Drury. I just can’t.

Maybe he’s running poop like the patriots do. Meaning no children allowed.

And before you say, well cmon Drury is a rookie GM. So was belichek at one point. I’m firmly in love with that approach. Call me bonkers if you want

What did he do so wrong? He sent a player/prospect to the freakin minor leagues. Now all the sudden, this is taboo?

- Slimtj100

Rumor is that Drury was never a fan of the pick. Telling a player he quit on a team. Calling a player out in front of the team is not always the best way to manage. All may be true, but the tough love approach didn't work in the past, so why not try a different tact. That said, Kravtsov should have gone down and earned his place back as Chytil and others did.

He had a great stretch last year and then slumped late. Slated for third line. Wanted him in the Buch deal, as Robert Thomas was a no go. Would be a great add.

So far, on the ice (not off of it), this season has had 2 hiccups. The PK in game one vs the caps and the second period last night. Yet, It’s amazing how little credit this board has given them the last week or so. Flat out amazing. Sad aswell. Thus my complete dooshbagness

The Dallas game I missed a lot of to be fair. Not to sure how they looked that game

That’s why I don’t see him getting traded. It doesn’t make sense to do it. No value. It’ll only appease Kravtsov, and to that I say (frank) that. Suck it up like all prospects do and take some medicine in the minors first. He is singlehandedly ruining his own career

I think he's primed for a big breakout year. Playing with Schenn and Buch is going to be real good for him.

I actually just (somehow) scooped him off the waiver wire in my fantasy league after seeing the highlight of that absurd goal last night and realizing he has 6pts in 2gp

What would work great for the Rangers is him going back to the KHL and tearing it up.

Yea he’s looked real good.

Buch cost me a grand last night with his headbutt they had 5 more goals after his was ejected and my draft kings lineup was loaded.

TJ, I call out the good and the bad. They had massive stretches with no attack yesterday. The overtime was ridiculously entertaining. Very solid vs. Dallas. Played fairly well vs. Montreal, even though they lost Kakko, though his absence was notable. Lousy in game one on the PK, which is still a work in progress due to change in personnel.

He’s not allowed right? Under contract with the rangers. They shouldn’t do anything with him imo. If he wants to rot away on his couch, that’s his decision.

Even so, he probably would tear it up but I don’t even think that would matter to teams. He’s clearly an epic headache that no one is going to give much for

If DeAngelo can find a squad (a really good one at that) then Kravtsov wont have any problems.

According to a couple of sources, Rangers’ coach Gerard Gallant personally called Vitali Kravtsov to ask the forward to consider returning. Kravtsov is in Russia, but several teams say they’ve been told he wants to play in the NHL, not stay overseas. He went home to find a comfortable spot to skate and be ready. Getting him to come back to New York will take some serious convincing, as it’s not his preference. He’d like a fresh start. New York is asking a high price for the 2018 first-rounder, but there’s legitimate interest. It’s a poker game.

I actually have Schenn and Buch, so I'm with you but a goal in two games isn't terrible. He'll get there with those two on his wings.

I didn't even realize Kyrou was playing with those two when I picked him up. I literally saw a clip of that highlight-reel goal, peeked at his stats, couldn't believe he was available and scooped him right up

If I’m Drury I don’t accept anything less than what he wants for him (whatever he sees fit) Kind of like Eichels GM. Play hardball with him because there is no other choice imo. Krav has made his bed and now must lie in it

Kravtsov for Kyrou. Everyone is happy. Krav and Buch can start a Russian mob in StL

Seriously tho, Panarin or Shesty can’t be his buffer now? It’s very very hard to defend Kravtsov in any way shape or form in this. Drury is a rookie GM and if he did in fact cause some of it, he may learn from it. But at most I give Drury 5% fault in this whole thing

Hope this was respectful

They actually played the perfect road game in MTL Jan. They made one mistake all game and it went in the net. Mtls home opener no less.

You flat out haven’t given them enough credit so far this year Jan. You just haven’t. And I don’t appreciate it. Sorry lol

I really don’t wanna berade anyone, but since the Buch trade you really have irked me. Just being honest. We all knew Buch was a goner. Which had very much to do with the perceived weak return he got.

No one has used their head with that trade. It was a fore gone conclusion he was getting moved. The nitpicking on that trade was maddening all summer
